The food is always good,(besides the pizza being burnt once) but what they need to fix or communicate to someone to fix in the google maps menu photos. Expected to pay 30-32$ with tax paid 59.53, for the large pizza 20 wings and salad special. Bc that price doesnt give "special". If they know the menu photos are old they should tell the customer before hanging up the phone.

This is easily my favorite pizza spot. I've never been disappointed even after multiple orders for both pick up and delivery through 3rd party. The pizza is thick and delicious, wings are perfect every time, and they have the best mozzarella sticks hands down.

Desi in the front, party in the back. Holy wow. This was one of the last spots left for us to try in the new neighborhood, and it rocketed straight to the top. I’ll be honest—I was a little stunned by the price at first. Thirty bucks for a large specialty pizza? Yikes. But now? Totally worth it. This is the prime example of what a Buffalo pizza should be. My fiancé and I ordered a large chicken bacon pizza online. The app said it was delayed, but when I showed up, I was greeted by a sweaty, hard-working broski who apologized because it had actually been ready. No worries, man—it was still hot, still gooey, with a mega cheese pull that made me forget the wait. We went with garlic crust—subtle, but perfect. The cheese? Plentiful, melty, and top-shelf quality. The chicken tasted like seasoned, tender grilled pieces, not the bland stuff you find at most pizza joints. And the bacon… oh man. No sad, pre-frozen bacon bits here. We’re talking real, cut-up strips of crispy bacon laid across the top. Who does that? Nobody. 10/10. We’ll be back. Please, never change!

Best turkey club sub I've ever had honestly. I was like 15 mins late to pick up and it was still sooo fresh and good!! Toasted perfectly, rations are perfect. Sub was a 10/10 !! I will definitely be back again!! And the guy I spoke to( owner I think lol) was sooo kind!!

There are certainly no shortage of great pizzerias to choose from near South Buffalo, but Desi's is my first choice now after having tried quite a few. Ordering is super convenient through the Slice app and they always have it ready very quickly. As others have mentioned, the owner works in the kitchen and has personally prepared every pizza I've ordered. He's incredibly hard working and kind, and he remembers his regulars. Also, the pizza is plain great - one of the few Buffalo joints that actually cooks the pie long enough instead of giving you something that is too doughy or bread-like. You could pay a fortune for a pizza from Imperial, but for my money I'd much rather support Desi's and get a great product for a fair price. Don't forget to tip well if you can! ✌️
